Jay Herbert is standing up for the Viper!

Just got my 9-12-05 Autoweek. In the letters column, Jay stands up for the Viper after AW criticized the Viper as a poseur's car versus the Ford GT. With the Viper's racing success is a number of series, Jay states that the current Ford GT which races in nothing is the poseur and the Viper is the icon! Thanks Jay!

sometimes I think I subscribe to magazines just to piss myself off...why is it they always hate on what I like/own? doesn't matter if its cars or bikes, I get no respect, no respect at all...

Autoweek and others have their own adgenda. They try to bend reality to fit the hype of the moment. They probably did positive reviews on the Viper years ago. I try to just get the facts and make my own opinion.
