On the local morning news the showed a interveiw with Jay Leno new project. at the end of the story they show Jay driving into the stuido's and parking his Blue and white. It could be old new reel footage but fun to see the viper in the broadcast.

Whoops! He said it was made in the Conner Avenue plant!

That early RT there was made in the New Mack Avenue assy plant, before they moved Viper production to Conner "Avenue". That building was actually the old Champion Spark Plug Plant, located on what was originally known as Conner Road.

Couldn't very well say the car was made in the CRAP plant, so they changed the name of the road from Conner Road to Conner Avenue, yielding a much better and nicer sounding acronym of "CAAP", for Conner Avenue Assembly Plant.
