I purchased a 3" Corsa cat back from JonB in November 2002. A problem developed with the mufflers. I called JonB. He immediately three - wayed in the Corsa rep. After a brief discussion, it was agreed that I would pay for a new rear assembly which would be drop shipped to the installer subject to a refund if an autopsy by Corsa showed a defect. Today I was informed by JonB that Corsa completed its autopsy and that they found a defect. My payment is being credited back to my credit card. This was an exceptional level of service by JonB and by Corsa. The Viper community is very lucky to have such a fine vendor and a distributor of that vendor. In today's brave new internet world it is nice to know that there are still people dedicated to a quality product and quality service. Thank you JonB and Corsa.

I've ordered some things from Parts rack, and whenever I had a question Jon would answer immediately. Nothing but good experiences.

Bob,

Is the defect something us other Corsa owners should look for? I bought my Belanger headers and high flow cats and Corsa Catback around the same time as you???
Thanks, Bob

I think it was something isolated to my mufflers. Here is an excerpt from the email: "The muffler in question went through a series of static harmonic tests to where nothing was detected initially. However as we proceeded into cutting the muffler apart, we found a separation on the inlet tube within the case. It is believed that after the car warmed up, the pipe expanded enough to cause a buzzing type noise."

My opinion is that Corsa makes a great product and stands behind that product. Their attitude and quick action with respect to my mufflers proves same. There was no argument, no debate, just understanding and quick action.

Glad to here you had a good experience with Jon and Corsa. It's always refreshing to here someone getting good customer service. I just installed a Corsa this weekend on my GTS that I bought from Jon B and so far I am very happy.

JonB is a very valuable resource to all Viper owners. Sometimes I forget about him, but always seem to come back.

Good to hear something positive.

I just made my first order a week or so ago. R.T. 3' Hi-Flows. Had a very positive experience. Can't wait to put them on. These stock cats are killing me in the summer.

I just though I would translate this for you guys:

"We had Jim-Bob bang on your Corsa with series of hammers, starting with a brass hammer and ending with a 5 lbs sledge. We were unable to duplicate the noise you had been hearing in the (now flat) muffler, so we cut it in half with a Sawz-All. At that time, we were unable to determine whether Jim-Bob broke the inlet tube inside the case, or weather we are going to have to fire Moe, our welder. Since we arent sure who is at fault, and we dislike lawyers and the better business bureau, we are going to replace your Corsa anyway."

Thanks for taking the time to post......

Cynical humor aside, CORSA takes pride in the product, and their engineers actually seem to enjoy the rare opportunity to do a post-mortem on a hard-driven, blower-modified unit like this. Real-World feedback!

You would think they would try to find and excuse to pass the buck, but NOT.
This is only the 2nd warranty claim we have EVER submitted to CORSA and they did honor both our claims, since we could document purchase date, application, and present the original invoice from 3.5 years ago.

Coincidently, Random Tech has a rare, but high-pride motivated autopsy process. Random backs up their 5-year warranty. We have processed 5 claims in 4 years. 4 of the 5 were replaced free!

Thanks again for supporting all your VCA vendors...we WILL SUPPORT YOU !
