Fellow Driver,

Folks, the sunshine kids cruise was a blast and the June Drive was a fun time to…the toll road jaunt was a blast (although me and a few others never caught up to the guys in the front till later ).

June was a hot month…July doesn’t look much cooler. With that said, we can’t let some triple digit weather keep us from having fun. Rollout up those windows, crank on that A/C and lets hit the road for another wonderful place to visit. This month we are headed out to a family owned winery and restaurant. This place is nestled in the middle of the hill country and getting there will be half the fun. The cuisine is great, the parking is bountiful and the facilities are upscale. Feel free to click here (http://www.mandolawines.com/) to get more information. IF you are interested in any activities prior to this calming cruise through the hill country, then feel free to also check out, in San Marcos, the grand opening of a friend of mine’s car museum location #2 (starting at 2pm on that Saturday)…click here to find out more (http://www.sanmarcosrecord.com/local/local_story_292144310.html). The drive details are listed below.

Take care and we hope to see you and yours out there on the 11th.

update:

Okay, after several conversations, we are now not eating at the winery…instead we will be eating at his other restaurant…so, what’s a quick short route (maybe limecreek from 1431?) to get there? Also, we will be meeting at the Sail and Ski parking lot next door to the Aston dealership (right before it). The dealership has an event and they don’t know if there will be parking. But they did notify Sail and Ski next door and get reserved parking and extended hours of their shop so we would have an air conditioned place to hang out and ample parking J
