Ive been to 6 shops and they all will not touch the car for an alignment. No place would even put the springs on so I had to do that in my tiny apartment garage.

Any special type of alignment shops to look for.

Thanks!!

Keith, why wont they touch the car? Are they scared? After you get the alignment done, post pics!! I know I had Photoshopped those pics to see what it would look like, but I want to see the real thing, especially with those rims. :D

Its not as low as the photoshop. Thanks god :) . Its the perfect height. I had to ship the wheels back to forgeline. The local NTB really ruined them.

All the places I talked to said they dont want to be responsible for anything that happens when its in their shop. Dings, scratches, falling off the rack.

What the hell did NTB do to your rims? Is forgeline replacing/fixing them? Sorry, I didnt mean to lower it so much in Photoshop. :D How much did you end up lowering it? Is it pretty noticable?

To do it "right" as in the service masnual way or factory way, you need to go to a DC dealer since there is a specific way to allign a Viper using the special tools that hook onto the wheel to set frame height etc.
Some folks have gone to a regular front end shop for a "quick check" kind of allignment.
It is said that an out of allignment Viper can really eat some tires fast (I guess rears are more suseptable).

I agree with Viper Joe......go to an experienced Dealer technician. Even if you have to travel a long way. Just lowered my new 02 RT with Eibachs. It looks perfect, and doesn't bounce around so hard anymore.

Fortunately, I have one of the best Viper technicians in south Florida.

After the installation, you will need a four-wheel alignment. When you find an experienced Dealer, they will need extended ramps to get your car on the alignment machine without scraping, or you should be prepared to bring blocks to elevate your car while driving onto the machine.

You shouldn't need anything else.

Keith...I still need to get an alignment after lowering mine. I'll give Paolo C. a call for the place he takes it to. He swears by them. I'll let you know what I find out.

Todd Thalmann has done many Viper alignments. He can also mount tires w/o damaging the wheels...
