I know this has been discussed many times on this board, but I was pleasantly surprised. My 6 month premium is $547 and I'm with Geico.

Any comments????????

I switched (back) to Geico, $1200/y from Progressive, $1500/y last year. I just keep shopping as they all sort of bounce around.

1 speeding ticket on my record.

I live in NJ so it's never cheap but for my 06coupe it is 1600/year. Recently, my 2001 GTS was 1200/year. My 1999 Vette new was around 1100 per year.

Back in 82 when I had an 82 Vette and I was 19, I paid 2400/year. That was ugly.

$514 every 6 months with USAA (plus I have two other cars for a multi-car discount...clean driving record)..and located in Florida (makes a difference). Viper is acually less that 2002 Dakota 4x4 (exact same coverage)since it is not considered a "daily" driver or primary vehicle.

I got some good advice from forum members, dropped Hagerty, and now have all 4 cars on GMAC... if you are with Progressive, it is time to shop as they are pretty high these days, the've gotten a little too popular and a little cocky I think-

Glad yoo are happy, but since you asked ... unless you're posting coverage limits etc what's really the point?
Location is a *huge* factor in determining your premium as well...

Good point. Most people on this board that post their insurance prices don't bother to list their age, location, marrital status, whether they have homeowners through the same company, whether they have multicar discount, deductable amount, special provisions, or their limits. Every one of those factors makes a significant different, so if you don't give ALL of them, it is worthless to even tell us what your rate is.

-The fact that you are 21 or 50 makes a huge difference.
-Living in Texas versus New Jersey makes a huge difference.
-Having a $1000 deductable versus $250 deductable another big one
-Homeowners through the same company gets you about a 10% break on your cars
-etc.
-etc.
-etc.

I have Allstate full coverage with a $500 deductible and I pay $582 for 6 months and I am young as well. It is however the third car on my policy so Im sure that helps.

I pay 750.00 a year with nationwide but in truth only 70.00 for comp. They let me leave comp on the car, keep my plates, and call the agent when I want to drive the car. It is a sweet deal

I forget my actual numbers but I was with

Allstate, about 750 every 6 months. EACH VIPER
switched to State Farm, cut rate in just about HALF. TRIPLED my coverage to the max also.

Screw allstate.

I think it's everyones BEST interest to get quotes every couple of years with car insurance..

Thats not always true, since you get discounts for insuring other property, such as your house.

I pay about $1900/yr. with State Farm. Live in Miami and have my house and other vehicles insured with State Farm. My deductible is $100 and have upper coverage limits. Female and over 26.

I would never switch around insurance companies. My experience has taught me to stick with a good company. I have always been satisifed with the results.

Just bought a 2006 coupe. Still maintain my safe driver status.

$943/year with Hagerty. Also you get to declare the value of your car, instead of having someone Blue Book it out at way less  But I'm old (36) with a clean driving record.....
