K&N Filters

[Viper Byte]

When I bought my '99 GTS several months ago it came with K&N
filters and smooth tubes. I was wondering if the filters can
be cleaned or have to be replaced. Also, how often should they
be cleaned/replaced - the car is mostly driven in stop-and-go
traffic.

I'm sure the K&N website can tell you more, but they surely can be cleaned.
