Latest year a DRBIII can be used on?

Friend wants to use mine on a new Challenger. I said it won't be of any use.

Who is right?

My DRB III did nothing useful our 2006 Jeep Commander. It MAY have worked as a generic OBD II scan tool, but I never attempted that as I had several, small, simple devices for reading/clearing codes. Furthermore, the DRB III didn't recognize the vehicle as a Jeep. Needless to say, I used a wiTECH on our later Chrysler vehicles.

The DRB III does do several things on Vipers up to and including 2010. On the Gen IV Vipers, I use it for ABS, TPMS...but nothing much beyond that due to the mix with CAN bus items which required my wiTECH.
