Left my lights on, now car wont start?

It looks like the Optima battery has a hard time coming back after it is dead. I never hear anyone using a Diehard battery in a Viper. Are they ok?

I know this is an old thread but, hey, that's what's nice about the "search" feature, right?

My dilemma is from an iPod left plugged into the lighter socket. Currently in the process of charging at 10 amps for 9 hours per the service manual. If this doesn't work, I'm assuming it's impossible to remove the battery without removing the left rear wheel ( :evilmad: ), am I right?

were you using the monster transmitter? as such i thought all those cables wouldnt draw power unless an Ipod was actually attached.

Nope...can't do it.


When you say smell..is it electrical? Smells like burnt plastic?

Just recharge the battery from under the hood jumper points. The left rear has to come off to replace battery.
