Has anyone needed to use the Lemon Law to get Dodge to buy back their Viper? I have an 04 with 2600 miles and in need of having the engine pulled and sent to Arrow Racing. It has been in the shop four times for the same problem of using excessive oil, (about three to five quarts every 800 to 900 miles). I posted this problem on this Forum a few months ago and the dealer felt that the problem was resolved. Over the weekend the oil was low again and two of the bearings locked up with plenty of other damage.
According to the Maryland Lemon Law, DC is obligated to either buy back the car or give me a new one. All the criteria has been met for me to use this law but I was just curious if anyone else went through this for a Viper.
