Long text lines?

Sometimes I have the same problem and I didn't think that it was always when a picture was involved.

Every so often I find a post where the text lines are much longer than I can display without scrolling over. Is there a fix for this?

It's not always when there are pictures, or perhaps you were just asking for more web friendly, smaller file, pictures.
The long text lines can be dealt with in my e-mail program but I don't know how to do it on this site. There must be some computer wiener out there. HELP
