I'm looking for the right 1997 RT-10 Blue with white stripes just like the GTS. I hear there was 50 made, then I hear there was 119 made???? Who knows.

All I know is they look cool and I'm looking to find any out there for sale. I prefer one owner, low miles, no prior damage, complete history etc..

Let me know what anyone knows! [email protected]

Thanks!

53 total blue and whites, the rest of them were red.

One of the blue ones does not have stripes. It's just a blue rt/10.

Does Nelsonautogroup include the vaseline on the 72K price or do they just ram you dry?

I'm pretty sure it's a dry one at that price! They can only afford lube once they are over 80K! ;)

Thanks for the lead above, I'll follow up!

It was new and that was sticker what do you want? get your own dam vaseline.

I purchased a brand new, still on MSO, still on the dealerships showroom floor, with full 3yr factory warranty, 97 blue and white GTS just last October.

I paid triple net, a.k.a dealers actual cost less about $149.00. Why would I expect to pay anything more than that on another leftover blue and white car?

Sorry if my smart a$$ comment above about the Vaseline (SP?) struck a nerve, it was just a joke for crying out loud. :D

i too love the blue/white rt and was told try and settle for another color.. price for them is just unreasonable.

take a red 01 or 02 rt/10 with abs and have it done up as a 97 twin and have extra cash for mods.
just an idea.

now if it was the 96 GTS mule that got away that is a whole different story.
good luck

Five Blue and White RT's for sale have popped up so far. Low $50's seems to be the norm for the pre-owned. Surely there are more than five for sale, let us hear from you.

I spoke to Ron at the Nelson Group, they want less than the $72,000 that ADUMBASP quoted above. (not much less though)

Someone will pay their asking price I'm sure. Who knows it might end up being me! MSO car, 75 miles.....HMMM...Sounds like my 97 Blue and White GTS story all over again.

Twin Blue and Whites.....HMMM......Yea that's the ticket! :2tu:

Here we go again. Mike had that 96 GTS one owner that I told him was worth some money. Sold it in a week for 63k+. Too low, it would have brought more.

Now Nelson has a MSO car for a few bucks more...it is worth it! Blue and White RT's are RARE!

Now you are complaining about a MSO car for 70k? BUY IT before I do.

BadVenm if you are finding 97 RT10s (Blue) for Low $50K send them my way because I will probably invest in one or two more.

Dakota Viper Collector,

Contact Frank at [email protected] he has one that will be in the low $50's, 17K miles I think, which is more miles than I want. Frank is the orig owner.

Also contact Eric Lee at Latham Dodge in the NY area I think, he contacted me and he has one for $52 with 19K miles. Both had more miles than I am looking for. Eric said his was a one owner as well.

I told both of them I'm not out as a buyer but I would opt for less miles as I find them with less. I thought 50k and 52k was about right for a pre-owned with those kind of miles.

You never gave me a price on yours in your PM's to me, so I suspect you're over the low $50's and yours has more miles than I hope to find as well. Good luck adding to your collection!

How come you haven't changed your signature from Ordered to BOUGHT on your Ford GT?

Jerry, every time I try to buy a Viper you jump in and talk about how they are all too cheep and everyone should pay more! With friends like you.....

I'm banning you from your freebies at my club, The Dirty Bird. I will tell the girls you must pay from now on! Go to the back of the bus!

I also spoke with Greg Nelson personally about his car. He is one nice dude!

His car is the car to buy. It the same story as my GTS, new, leftover, still on MSO, etc.... BUT he has already turned in the MVDR, so there is NO warranty. I don't know if that is a killer, but on my last buy, IF it would show any leaks from sitting, at least I could take it to the dealership and any fix is all free. It came with full 3 yr factory warranty.

You know me, I'm not complaining, I'm just rooting around for the right deal. I didn't waste a second writing a check to pay for the GTS when I found the right one.

Remember, we found 3 MSO NEW B/W GTS', $100K, $80K, and mine at dealers cost. Just think if I had jumped on the first one uncovered, I would have paid $100K, ouch!

Greg's might not be the only one on MSO out there. The game is still in the first few innings!

Greg says he has a lot of activity on the 97, so it will go to a new home soon.

Ryck,

I think you are nuts. You have a 300 mile PERFECT 97 GTS and you are the original owner.

Everyone UPGRADES from an RT10 to a GTS. You are going backwards.

You must like that open cockpit.

Lets talk about it at the Dirty Bird, when do you want to go? You know the girls love me there!

I am glad Greg was nice to you, he was a pr%ck to me about the same car, and I was trying to deal on 3 cars!

FYI the car is not in play, they still phone me every day about if I want it.

EdmontonGTS,

Thanks for the heads up!

By your signature I think you are the guy that just bought the 96 Blue and White GTS from my buddy Mike Anderson at Chuck Anderson Ford. It was owned by a Doctor along with a 94 that has something like only 1,028 miles or so.

A 38 mile Blue and White 96 GTS sat at his dealership for about all of two days. I think 3 or 4 guys were all over it trying to buy it. He said a guy with two GT-2's ended up getting the car. Is that you? If so Congrats, that's a killer car still in plastic! You have a few other very nice collectibles! You're doing something right! Congrats!

Ryck, I have a Ford GT ordered but I may not see if for years, the way this deal is going, and I have an inside track on it being a dealer. If I don't get it, I'll have to take my Dodge and show them what it will do. If you and Jerry go to the Dirty Bird to discuss your car purchases, call me. I'll have to get my kitchen pass stamped but it shouldn't be hard if we keep it quiet where we are going. Good luck. By the way EdmontonGTS is who bought the 96 B/W GTS from us. It really was literally still in the plastic wrap. Call me later!
