Looking to buy first Viper.

Ok I am in the process of buying my first viper and wanted to ask some basic questions. Ok only one for now.

I am looking for an SRT-10 but am not sure on the year. I wish I could afford an 08 but thats not going to happen yet so, is there any major differences between 03 and 06? Any major issues in any of the years that I would have to be concerned about?

Nothing worth a $10-$15k savings. IMO

The only thing you should be concerned about is whether or not you'll be able to get the permanent grin off of your face once you buy a Viper!
You will know what I am talking about once you own one.

Just pick the body style (coupe vs vert), color, and price you want. All SRT-10 cars are basically the same. I'm seeing early SRT convertibles in the $40K's, and those are an outstanding value for the amount of fun and attention they attract. Just put some aftermarket wheels on them, lower them a bit, and nobody will know what year SRT you have.

Tom: We have the '05 SRT Vert..BLACK of course!!! Between '03 and '06, not many differences if any (I cannot say for certainty, as I haven't gotten into the '06's very much)...I'm telling you, the BEST person to personally answer your questions, is our Viper Wizard, Mr. Chuck Tator himself...his number is: 1-914-763-3136...he'd be the best to answer your questions about ANY Vipers.
