Looking to sell or trade my VR-1\'s

18" "competition" forgeline VR-1s. I just don't love them as much as I used to.

If anyone has some 18" CCW's they want to trade for them, I'm up for it (even though I'd be taking a loss). these are the 18" competition model which means polished lips but painted (or is it powdercoated) centers/spokes. Centercaps will NOT fit on these rims as they are the lightweight competition model. I called Forgeline and even bought the centercaps... and they don't fit.

the centers on most of them could stand to be painted.

Tires have like 80% tread on them (both front and rear). And that is from less than 1k miles on them. There are more pics in my gallery, but here is one:

They look really good on your car Joseph, shame you dont like them anymore.

These are also the lightest wheels available as far as I know for the viper. They are 11x18 18lb's front and 13x18 19 lb's rear. Which means on a typical gen 2 18 inch wheel you are shaving off almost 50lb's of rotating mass.

Russ - thanks! Your rims have been treated well since I got them. I think I'm just bored right now.

They are definitely light!

I dunno... really would rather trade. 2900 w/o rubber... 3500 with? something like that. I dunno...

I've got a set of track CCW's with new rubber that may interest you. I bought them from a VCA member who did not get a chance to use them. I believe the fronts are 10-10.5x18 and the rears are 13x18.
I have not put them on the car yet.

Viper trivia: Any/all wheels that fit on a Gen II will fit a Gen I. Gen I and II 17" wheels will fit the Gen II cars that came with 18" wheels, up to the ABS cars (2001/2002 - reportedly a bolt head interferes on the ABS cars, perhaps more).
