Every now and then when I am driving my 08 the clutch pedal will essentially go to the floor with no tension on it. I have to let it out and in a couple of times to get it back to feeling like it should. This has happened maybe 3 or 4 times in a 1000 miles. Cant really pinpoint anything specific that triggers it.

Anyone else have a similar issue or have any suggestions on the cause/cure?

fluid level is ok.

Sounds like a bit of air in the system. As with all hydraulic systems, compressible air bubbles can cause unpredictable, or spongy performance--think incomplete bleeding in your brakes and how they perform. I would start by bleeding the clutch fluid and go from there. The level in the reservoir will show full despite trapped air. Sounds like a warranty thing for sure.
