there are a few videos floating around- the gen2 and gen3 do have an advantage at lower speeds, but the dense gearing and 8200rpms of the m5 seems to give it advantage at higher speeds...

the e60 m5 is also pretty much even with the gallardo...

once i break in mine i will know more firsthand...

also few sources suggest that the m5 for once is underrated- it seems they are a about 530 crank hp...
