man this stinks I can\'t make it to Englishtown

I can't make it to Englishtown this year and i've be looking foward taward it since last year.There has to be a way I can get down there but there are two things blocking my way school and mom working.I had one idea and that was to stay till 6th peroid and get my homework in 7th and 8th.Then,after that pick up mom.What am I going to do!!!

Hope you can work out a way to get there, there should be plenty of Vipers there, Isure would like to see some GT2s. Good luck.

Is this event a Viper Owner only thing? I'm not trying to bring up that other thread, I am not a Viper owner, just an enthusiast. I live very close to Englishtown, and would love to drop by to check out all the cool Vipers that will be there. I was under the impression it was an owners-only event, and I wouldn't get in anyway. Either way, I'll be driving around the area that weekend, hopefully see some of your awesome cars cruising. Thanks.

Since misery loves company, let me jump into the well of dispair with you. I've been excited everyday since I heard about the event, but my plans are dashed & I think I'm throwing in the towel.

First, there's a Father / son thing at my son's school on Friday, which I was struggling to miss or not. I'm really good at making everything & thought, well, I could miss just one thing, maybe.

Then, we're having contractors work at the house (new pool that's almost done), they were suppose to finish but got rain delayed, so they rescheduled - for Friday, Arrgh! It's almost imperative I be there so they don't do who know's what wrong.

Then, today the dealership calls & says my daily driver I just bought won't be ready tomorrow like promised, but for Friday pick-up & I really need to get that thing home.

At this point, I think God is telling me something - like, "Daffy, go to your son's event .. or more weird stuff will pop-up!".

So, color my bummed-out.

Here's some answers:

First of all, this event will be awesome!!!!! Trust me!

Ron, stay in school, then come on Saturday.
Shawalka, yes, you can spectate.. Saturday has open admission to the track.
Daffy, Family first, Vipers second....but, here's a thought:

Do the family gig, watch the guys marbelize your pool, then take off for Colts Neck Inn for some dinner with the guys (yes, I can arrange for "banquet only" fee), Sleep at the Inn (I'm sure there's rooms still available) and then get a Saturday pass which includes breakfast, lunch, autocross (including competing in Dodge delivered 2001 Vipers!), dragrace, and enjoy a cruise with all the other Mopars to a nearby "Main Street USA" style town called Freehold to hang out and eat. If you'd like to stay for Sunday, that's included too!

YES!!! Saturday is a full day of Viper "things"!
