Meguiar\'s Scratch-X

Had some very noticible black marks on my side sills from the sole of my shoe rubbing against them as I got out. (I know I know be more careful but I'm 6'5 and sometimes it's hard). Soap and water did absolutely nothing on them, so I picked up a bottle of Meguiar's scratch-X from the store.

Took some elbow grease but it took them right out and the sills shine like new. So, I'd have no hesitations recommending this product.

Hey Matt,

How are you enjoying that Viper?!?!? I picked up some Meguire's high gloss gell (smells like berries) and used it on the Viper. Daaaaamn this is nice. And like it claims, last for weeks not days. I am starting to like this product. Any other goodies that they make?

3m Scratch and Swirl Remover 39009 also works well. Remove oils with 50/50 water/alchol then Zaino...

I use the pinnacle spray carnuba. Works great

I often take these marks off with glass cleaner such as windex. (after the side sills have cooled down.)

This product has also been recommended here for using on polished wheels to get small scratches out. I used it for that purpose with good results.

I love scratch X and also try Meguiar's Hot Wheels cleaner as it cleaner wheels and brings back a nice shine. Invisible Glass is a must have for glass!
