mobil1 15w50?

I am going to change my oil. I have 12 quarts of Mobil1 15w50 laying around. Is this ok in my GTS? I usually use mobil1 10w30.

Its fine

Its just a heavier weight, which may result in the loss of several hp. But it will also give your engine a bit better protection.

2000gts----------I have only used 15w50 in my 99 gts for years with no problem. It was recommended by my viper tuner for track and street, especially in my hot climate.

Ditto here, I've used 15W50 for something like 90k miles in two RTs, but I also live in CA where the lowest temp that the car sees is normally above 50. If you see any really low temps (like, 40 or below, certainly below freezing), you might want to use the 10W30.

50w is a little on the heavy side. Might cause a little extra heat and a small loss of hp.
