mods for the up coming summer

I'm looking to make some mods to my '96 GTS, but would like to see what worked best for some of you guys that have already done these mods. First, I would like to lower my car, but don't know what would be better. do I just lower it the 5/8" with spring caps, or do shorter springs? At the same time I am going to get rims and tires and am debating on what size to get 17, 18 or 19. I would like like to run Kumhos if possible and know they don't make 19. what do some of you recommend? if you have any pictures please post them. thanks

Best Mod. is performance driving training by Skip Barber, Bobby Archer and or at Viper Days. 18" Hoosiers -same as on the Comp Coupe are nice for road racing.

Dave, I think you can only get the 18 Kumhos from across the pond, only have the 17's here for now.

I would be using them for the drag strip and just driving around on the street (poser). I do want to do a driving school also. thanks mitch. performance wise should I stay with 17" rims or go the 18" route?

Eibach springs for sure. All Vipers should be lowered.

Do some research but you might have more sidewall with 17" options which will help you at the dragstrip.
