Thought I'd offer these here before placing them in the classifieds.

Somewhere along the way, I ended up with two sets of these. One set I'm keeping for my car, perhaps someone else can benefit from the other. Here is a link to exactly what is being offered:

http://www.mopar.com/m_perf_parts_product_part.jsp?categoryID=10026&itemID=742

This item is absolutely brand new, in the box with all factory paperwork. Still wrapped in cardboard from the factory. I did open the box to make sure they were in there (obsessive I know).

Asking $950.00. No tax, I will pay for shipping to anywhere in the lower 48 states. Again, this item is new. Feel free to pm or email me if you have an interest. Thanks,

So in theory, my Dodge "5 star" dealership that "won't install anything but Genuine Mopar parts" on my Viper, will install these for me, correct? :)

That's kind of my thinking. I also feel that with "Mopar Performance Parts" I have a pretty good case if any warranty issues ever arise. After all, they're not after market, they're Mopar. ;)

Yes, those are the one's I bought, and I just found out I paid $1,195 for them last year. :(

No issues. Left the baffles in the valve covers, but checked them after running the motor for a while. I can't remember if I used shims under the girdle. I do remember I tried thick/thin/no shim to see which gave the best pattern across the tip *on both sides of the motor* (I think it was no shim). Measured very carefully with an adjustable pushrod and ended up with 7.550 pushrods which gave me about 1/8-1/4 turn to take out the lash, plus one full turn. Just confirmed the part #'s I ordered from Summit, below...

Quantity Part # Status Carrier
001 TFS-21407550 Shipped on 03/01/04
004 TFS-21407550-1 Shipped on 03/01/04

It's a little more involved then just bolting on a set of headers, but very rewarding.
