Since the fan is driven hydraulically and I would bet you would be hard pressed to measure or feel any difference.

The alternator doesn't draw that much power unless your battery is low, I think you'd want to pump the water that was intended, the PS pump is out of stroke when going straight ahead using little power, and the AC would be off if you were really THAT serious about total power!!

You need before and after G-tech readings to see if there was any real gains.

I did it just cause it was easy and cheap. Can't say that too often with Viper mods.

Folks in the know generally agree that about 80% of any gains you get from aftermarket pullies are from the weight savings on the rotational mass rather than the underdrive ratio.

Stock pulley weighs about 2.5 pounds. Mopar crank pulley weighs about 13oz.

Thanks for the info ... I've read you can expect a gain of about +2.7hp for every 1 lb. taken off the crank ... that would suggest a gain of about 4-5hp at high rpms.

How much was the install?

If you mean "how hard was the install" then I can say it was not hard at all since I did it myself. If you don't count the time it took to remove the plastic intake shroud, then it took about 15 minutes.

Do you notice any difference in the steering feel? I wouldn't might if the power steering felt a little heavier (with a little less power assist) ...
