My old Viper wins a trophy!!!

I know, this sounds like I'm bragging, but nope! My son took the ole viper to the NOPI Nationals and entered it in the American sport coupe--other--mild class and won!! My road chipped, dirty, ole viper won!! First trophy we ever won. Do I sound proud? nah- just lucky, and yes there was more than one entry. Good to be back here.

i always thought of imports when i hear of NOPI. were there other american cars like mustang and vette? never thought of taking the viper to a rice display before.

There were cars of every description. Oh, the best? part, the lil hotties!! wow. My son caught me taking pictures of some, told him that's what old guys do! Wife says next year she's going-- rats! For the twenty dollars of the entry, it was well worth it, even for looking at cars. There were some outrageous vehicles. I'd like to see where some of these folks live-- might be a letdown. All in all, lots of fun.
