The drive from Woodhouse to my house is over. Left Woodhouse at 10am and was home at 4:30pm. The only damage to the car from the drive is one small rock chip in the windshield. ******* in a suzuki whatever just had to get in front of me and then bam. No other damage. Have to check with someone to get the chip looked at.

Next problem is the car cannot go up the driveway due to the huge curbing. Have to use wood blocks. Going to have to build me something to make this easy.

Woodhouse-Bill Pemberton were great. Car was perfect. The only defect other than a small chip in the paint is the side-sills are starting to discolor. They had the car ready to go, completely detailed and looked over. Absolutely no problems with the hospitality, answered my questions, etc. Full recommendation from me on Woodhouse-Bill.

Got home and spent a couple of hours cleaning all the bug guts off the car and general cleanup.

Damn the car is fast. Got to open it up alittle bit when traffic was non-existent. Just awesome.

Will post pics in a couple of days. Now just have to join VCA which is on my things to do very quickly list so that I can attend the Sept. event here in St. Louis.

Well have to go look in the garage to make sure it is still there.

Bill is great to work with. My '01 was up there for awhile along side yours for sale. As far as the curb, you can make it by driving up it at a steep angle. Congrats on the ride, I'm getting Vipersick (homesick not having a Viper).

Don't worry about the side sills. I damaged one on my car by rubbing a curb. If they are getting discolored, you can pop them off and a local body shop can repaint them good as new. I had the aluminum sill reshaped and repainted for $300.00 here, and it's better than new. That discoloration would bug me.

Congrats on your new family member! Usually, any windshield chip smaller than a quarter and NOT directly in front of the driver, can be fixed. You will never notice it.

Solution to driveway??? Well, a Lambo Murcie and 05 Gallardo both have the auto front lift and would lift you right over that nasty driveway bump.....but, $$$$$$$!

Enjoy :2tu:

I have been so busy with cleaning, looking at it, etc have not taken one pic. Today was removing the airbox, cleaning everything. Removing the 4 wheels and cleaning everything including the inside of the wheels. Also found that the brake pads are EBC greens, plus did a grease job. Found a few loose bolts, cleaned some more. The oil filter sure is small. Expected something larger considering the volume of oil in the pan. I also think the diff. was drilled and tapped with a drain plug. Have not check that oil yet.

There are two boxes in the engine compartment which are on the drivers side. Both boxes are attached with velcro right near the Emissions label. One seems to have indicator lights and a slot. What are these?

There is a valve on the passenger side intake nearer the windshield, what is this?

There is an open spade wire on the driver side intake near the firewall, what is this for?

Did Koni shocks come stock on '02 Vipers? They are blue bodies.

There are two flaps on the engine side of the radiator. Can't see them unless the airbox is removed. What is this for?

My owners manual plus service manuals are on order so I may have lots of questions until these arrive.

Still can't believe I have this car in my garage. The more I look at this car the more pleased I am that I called Bill Pemberton.
