I can't stand chips!!!!!

So, I know it may look a little kookie......

I have clear bra on the nose, sills, headlights and mirrors.

600 mile drive and 2 days at the track, I don't want to take a chance!

Not as bad as this guy!!!

I wonder how it will hold up after baking in the Vegas Heat for a few days in addition to the heat that radiates from the engine compartment?

cant be any worse than useing it on the windows, and leaving it on there for weeks at a time, while being exposed to the vegas heat. Infact painters tape doesn't like heat and will start to peel itself away from the car and fall off.

I thought the Viper looked funny 'till I saw that Civic.

Always take someone down with ya!! ;)

Got the idea from guys that take their SRT 300's to car shows all over. Stays on. Just use a quick detailer to remove any residue.

I'm headed to Vegas baby!!!! See ya there!

If you track and do not like "chips", perhaps another piece of tape behind the front wheel, on the sill. I have noticed a few chips here as well after the track.

friend used paint on latex and then removed it with just a hose...... It's clear, too..... slightly easier on the eyes.

Hope it works out well for you.

Well after 650 miles, 5 days in 100 degree heat and speeds of 140+ It held up quite well! It came off real easy with almost no residue!

So, now I am starting a new product line.

Dave's Track Paint Protection!

It is only $30 per roll. Viper Tax included! ;)

Really, if you have perfection-itis like I do this is the way to go.

Did the cone smudge clean off OK?

30 seconds into the first run, of the first drive of the car, the father-in-law brings the back end around.

It should come out.

No wonder these cars get wrecked on the way home from the dealership.......

I saw a green RT10 with blue tape on the hood ,mirrors, and wheel wells. I can understand that I bet it really helped it just didn't look to cool but I am also one of the pickiest sob's when it comes to all of my cars especially the Viper so I don't blame anyone doing what ever they can to protect the Viper. :2tu: :headbang:
