need a factory cd changer reward offered

I just pulled the monster stereo from my 92 viper and installed the factory unit. Does anyone know where i can get the mopar 6 disc changer or one that will work and the installation cable. Eamil me at [email protected]

Not sure where you can get one but its an Alpine unit.

I added one to my 95 last fall. It is actually very easy. All you need is an alpine 6 disk M-bus changer. I bought a CHM-S630 there are tons on ebay. You also need a discontinued but available Alpine adapter part # 4913. Plug the radio to the adapter and the adapter to the cable that comes with the changer and you are in business. The stock stereo runs the changer just like Dodge put it there. There are decent instructions on the socal site in the tech tips http://socal.viperclub.org/

You will have to surf around for the adapter a little. They are on ebay from time to time. I actually bought a back up that I guess I could sell if you have problems finding one (I'm not realy looking to sell it right now). I think I paid $25 for it. Let me know if you have any ?'s. The hardest part is running the new cable. My changer is still sitting on the passenger seat because I have not gotten to it yet.

HI, The reward is I will pay a stupid price like I did when I bought smog parts for my shelby. Maybe a finders fee 100.00 for info. on a factory unit with cable and brackets. If the changer is yours just think you get the money for changer and the fee and make out like a bandit. Gene

Hi there. Now you make me feel bad. You'll see someday when you get the 2.5 kids how much spare time you get. Now that baseball season has started It's cut into my Louisville time. My sons team has not lost a game last 2 seasons and his coach is getting the practice in both Sat. and Sun. Plus I've been working every other Sat. That's how it is working for the man though. I'll give you a call some weekend when it's going to be nice and we'll meet up. I could have been building my car up and taking some driving lessons to take you on.
