I think its time for a new clutch. The gears are getting harder to shift through and I am also smelling a faint bruning smell, although possibly not related. Regardless, it has 23K miles and I am getting ready to upgrade the shifter to the SVS model. I figured why not get the clutch done too. How much should I expect to pay for a new clutch installed? Also, is it worthwhile to get an expensive flywheel while i'm at it? Thanks.

The clutch (stock LUK replacement) can cost anywhere from $200 to $400 depending on who you buy it from. After market is a littel more. Depending on the labor rates in your area, but figure 5 hours to do the job right. I have a new aluminmum Findenza flywheel looking to sell if you're interested. PM me.
