Well, after taking the car into the dealer, the drivers side window regulator is half broken. I remember reading on here that this was a problem on the 2003 Vipers.
One of the cables or guides for the cable is broken, I'm not exactly sure. I was told there was no way to fix this (I fixed our BMW's window regulator with zip ties!), and it's $1240 for a new regulator installed.
So, now to look for alternatives to buying a regulator through the dealership. Where else can I get one? And are there any tricks to fixing the current regulator? Any chance in finding a wrecked viper and getting the regulator as a part out?
The window still works, so I'm not totally pressed for time, so I can wait to get the part. However, I fear that eventually the other cable will snap and then I won't have a working window anymore.
