Yes, it's Gen2 Viper related.....I tow the Viper with it. Anyway: There are ways to get a vehicle (especially a sold order like mine) moved up in the build process. It just takes the right person in Dodge to make a phone call or a few key strokes to make this happen. Are you, or do you know someone within Dodge that I can talk to ? Please ? Duallys that are being delivered now were ordered in Nov. and Dec. I am truckless and need HELP !! If only I had gotten Wolfgangs e-mail from him when he was taking me for autocross laps at the proving grounds :(

Good Luck! My "loyal" Spitzer Dodge dealer abandoned me on my SRT-10 Ram truck! The Dodge allocation situation didn't help either! Still have my 97 Ram V10 4X4 3500 with 9000 miles! It even has a towing capacity! I tried buying 25+ vehicles and it didn't get me anywhere, so I doubt that a bottle of Scotch will do it!
Regards!

Trucks are based on allocation, and many Dealers do not sell many. One tons are somewhat hard to get ,anyway, and with the change over to the new 600 ft lbs of torque, there was some delay. We sell a ton of trucks, so our allocation is usually huge, but if a Dealer only sells a couple a year, it does make for a long wait to get a truck. Don't know your situation, and this may not help much, but hopefully it explains some of the delay ( new Diesel motor ).

Thanks Bill, Trucks are the big seller down here so allocation is good.....it's just the wait I don't like. I know if the right person makes a call or key stroke, it can change status within a few days......that's the man I want to talk to. Seems like sold orders should get a little preference and customers like myself (two new Dodges since Nov) should get some help too. I see that most trucks (3500 diesels) being delivered now were ordered early December. I know there were holidays in this time frame, but I think mine will also take 12 weeks.

Yes, my truck allocation is usually hugh also, we sell 525 a year, here and 210 at our other store, but the real problem is that there was a new truck released for sale in Mexico, so dcx decided to take 8000 units out of the build at the Saltillo plant, (which is where the HD trucks are built). The 8000 where switched to the Mexico version of the truck. They said they would put the 8000 back in the build in the third and fourth quarter of the year. So this compounded with the 600 has created a lag in availability.
