New 1.7 Rollers

I just had new 1.7's installed and I am getting a lot more heat on the driver side. I am also getting a consistent popping, not really backfire, although I do notice a little more backfire. Any ideas on what may be causing this, it is does only seam to be happening on the driver side? I have a Gen 1

I'm wondering if you may have a valve or two that are adjusted too tightly or incorrectly. Which 1.7 rockers did you install and what pushrod lengths were used with these rockers? The reason I'm asking is that some people are under the impression that one pushrod length will work in all Viper motors. Thanks!
