New member, please help

Hey everyone.
Im new here to viper club and I am looking to enter the viper pit with a snake of my own. I want a GTS (96-02) but I need to know a few things to watch out for based on the years (common problems associated with specific model yrs) I know that the 2001 is the first year that ABS. I also know that the 2001 and the 2002 are pretty much the same except for a color option or two. If anyone could help me out that would be great.
