Welcome to the snake pit Adrian!

If your going to the track you'll be adding mods soon. Your times aren't bad at all for your first tries. You did better than I did. I just ordered nitrous and slicks though so I'm shooting to try to get near Tom Welch's 10.4 quarters. Have fun and come back here often, it's a great place for info.

BTW, check out the forum on drag strip times on this board for a lot of comparisons.

Hey Fred, were those 96's stock? I pulled a 12.43 in one and was very surprised because more experienced drivers with their own (modified) cars were running 12.7/12.8.

I was at a Florida VCA event and saw Ivan ** run a 12.09 in a stock 96 GTS. I know it was no fluke since he also ran a 12.12 and 12.15 the same day. And yes, his car is BONE STOCK!

Not to play the "I can top that" game, but I saw Jamie Furman put down an 11.77 pass in a stock GTS (K&N's, smooth tubes) on Michelin MXX3 Pilots (18 psi) at a VCA event at Maryland International Raceway this past spring.
