I have a few questions that I hope someone can give me some insight on. Will the new style 5 spoke "H" shaped wheels that come on the 2006 SRT-10 Vert fit on a 2004 or 2005? If so, what do the stock 2004 10 ***** wheels weight and what is the weight on the H shaped wheels on the newer model? Does anyone know if the new hood on the 2008 will fit on the 2004 -2005 models? If so any idea on the weight difference? Any idea on what the 2008 model will weight? (I hope under 3300lbs) My buddy has a z06 and always brags that his car is 200 lbs lighter than the vipers. I know its all just been released, but did not know if any of those spec's have been released yet. I am thinking about putting the newer wheels and 08 hood along w/ a Roe SC on 2004.(When they are available) Thank you for any feedback you can provide me on my thoughts.

Yes, the H-spoke wheels will from 06 will fit a 04. All SRT-10 wheels are interchangeable. Not sure of the weight, But I dassume the H-spoke is simialr to 10 spoke weight. I think the only really lite wheel was the Copperhead Sidewinder wheel. And I dont know If anyone knows for sure yet on 03-06 models being able to use the 08 Hood.

With a SC on the car, I wouldnt worry about losing alot of weight with wheels, hood etc.. You will have plenty of power to walk away from a Z06.

10 spokes, 5 spokes, H spokes all about the same weight, Copperhead sidewinder significantly lighter. Your Z06 buddy has a lot more to worry about now than bragging about his lightweight Z. The 08 Viper with 600HP will very nicely trump his 200lb difference. Like all the mags said, the ball is now in Chevy's court.
