I really wish I had a GTS to do the Nitrous, I loved the way it looks with dual bottles beneath the hatch. I saw one at Comdex 2002 like this on the display floor for some company, it was amazing looking.

If I do get nitrous though, where is that going to go? My trunk I guess? Does it fit well or is it too tight?

Any recommended kits or places to go to get it put it?

And after I put it in, can I remove it without having evidence of it being there?

A 15 lb bottle fits perfect. Take a piece of plywood and cut it to the diameter of the spare tire opening, carpet it, remove the spare, and attach plywood plate with the spare tire mounting hardware. It looks good and you can return the car to 100% stock.

That's what I did in my R/T. If you keep the system simple, you can take it out very easily and leave very little evidence behind. In my R/T, I only drilled on inconspicuous hole.

I installed two compostite 12lbs bottles in the car and they seem to fit just fine. The trunk is not finished off as yet, but I'll get to that:

There is a couple of systems for the Viper. The firsr one I had was the two nozzle system for the Viper from NX. When I took it off it only left two small holes in the intake which I covered with K+D and now you really have to look close (like from 3 inches ;) to see that something was done there before. On the picture below, the K&N runners are the ones which I used with the two nozzle system. See for yourself that like on the pic, nothing can be seen.
I took that system off and now installed a direct port also from NX. They don't have it normally on the shelf, but if you ask them nicely they will put it together for you.

On the original, two nozzle system I found that my fuel pump was not up to scratch and was not giving enough fuel to use the full potential of the system. So I would check my AFR if you want to run 150 HP +

So what kit should I look at getting?

Above you guys are recommending to just keep it simple, nothing too fancy, and a one bottle system?

What size shot would I be looking at running ?

I would recommend getting the NX system for simplicity. You could safely run a 100, 150 or 200 shot with stock fuel pump, and the extra fuel source from the shrader valve on the fuel rail. To put the complete system in from scratch nicely may take a day and cost about $1200 for everything you need. I like Snake Bitten's two ten pound bottle setup or you could go with a 15 lb bottle. Two ten pounders are better as you could face the bottles forward so the nitrous stays in the area of the pickup tube under hard accelleration. Probably the way I would do it again.
I would call the House of Power or Lee Dove for a system as they both seem to be equally priced.

Chris, it seems to me that every time I read one of your posts that your mentioning something about how you WISH you had a GTS or how much you like the GTS. Why didnt you just GET a GTS?! :p Just sell the RT and get a GTS already!

Yeah well, I wanted a Viper so bad I just bought the RT/10, I got a good price. I'd love to "trade" for a GTS. I can't sell this and buy a GTS, I would get ***** on taxes and whatnot.

I wonder if I should contact GTS owners and see if any want to trade.

I love the car, especially with the top off. Nothing beats the attention I get with the top off, but I "personally" would prefer a GTS. ESPECIALLY with nitrous! I've seen GTS nitrous installations just look so amazing.
