Are there any "tricks" to make sure you get the most out of a dyno test? I was wondering if weight, outside temperature, fuel type, tire pressure, etc, make any difference. And if they do make a difference, how much?

Thanks.

Not really. Outside tempreture makes a little difference, since you won't have that cold fall or spring air rushing through the front fascia to cool the air charge.

Dynos are suppose to correct for this stuff, though... make sure you have the person working the dyno show you all the things he can do to your chart (like SAE corrected)...

Make sure you take the dyno pull in 4th gear, and start it pretty low, at like 2000 rpm. Wind it ALL the way up to 6k.

And have fun!
