Why, thank you, Frank~!! I kinda like it myself...as I said, it does NOT in ANY way, shape or form compare to the VIPER. You're very sweet saying it has the biggest VIPER heart of all (SO TRUE, meaning with ME in it? I wear my VIPER apparel when driving that Vette...) Cya with it next Sunday, weather-permitting!

HAHA... If I didn't live exactly half-way between the 2 events I would just pick one... Google Maps is telling me 2 hours 20 minutes, but I'm not 100% sure about the location of Captree... Google is giving me somewhere on the South-shore off the Heckscher State Parkway; is that the place?

John, do you have a timeline and meeting place "in stone" for the upstate leg?

Sunday's "ride" 1st meeting place is at the Daily Planet restaurant in LaGrangeville Ny it is on Rt55 1/4 mile west of the Taconic State Pkwy ( take rt55 west exit from Taconic pkwy) We will meet there at 11:30 am and leave no later than 11:45 we will then take Rt55 west to Poughkeepsie,, cross the Hudson river via Mid-Hudson bridge to Rt 9W north, go appx 2 miles and meet the "north" crew at the "park and ride" at the intersection of Rt9w and rt299 in New Paltz NY. From there we will all leave.
It will be about a 80 mile ride,, it should take about 2 to 2 1/2 hours to drive and we will end up at "Torches" on the Hudson in Newburg NY for food. i hope this will work for every one,, nothing complicated,, hopefully a "nice" ride on a "nice" day, with "nice" people

John, What time do you think you'll hit the park n ride in NewPaltz.. I think 87 is my fastest way to get back from the Island and meet up with you all, so I'm just going to head right there... Just want to leave Captree early enough....

YESSSS I HAVE ONE, WAY BETTER THAN THE V1111111111. Saved me today. Saved me yesterday. 9500ix :headband: My laser shifters turned on and actually blocked the gun.The officer was right down the road. Very cool.

Not to change the subject back to the original topic.........but, we probably would like to go and visit Orange County Choppers also, since we're so close by. We may have Mike's son still visiting us from Maryland, and he'd like to see the gift shop/choppers. It's not far from Torches, and closes at 6pm Sundays...anybody else up for a visit, come along~! (After lunch a'course!) I'll be the 'pace car'...!
