I had to leave early too....but not for a power streering bracket malfunction. Too bad D, since it was YOU who put this drive together!

A Run Down Of The Day:

Gas - $50.00
Restaurant Bill - $30.00
Sunglasses - $10.00
Arriving To A Restaurant That Has Not Power And Seeing Adrian's Face When He Was Denied Food - PRICELESS!!


Overall today was a good day. The run was a bit long for me, 250 Miles Up and 150 Back but I would say it was worth it. Would I do it like that again, not sure but the events that happened today made it worth it. After all how often can you see a full grown tree laying in the middle of the road or 20+ Vipers going down the highway all together? Gotta love NY!!! By the way, I am seeing a few NJ guys trail over to our side. NJ might be loosing a few more members :D .

BY THE WAY, I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ROCKY AND HIS GREAT WIFE FOR GETTING ME BACK HOME!!!! :cool:

A BIG thank you to Skeeter for picking the roads! WOW very cool! Did 314 miles today! :2tu:

Hey D thanks for the event! I had a great time. Sorry you had to pull off, hope you got home ok.

I loved the looks we got driving through Woodstock and the other small towns. Lots of thumbs up and running to the curb for a better look as we passed through.

It doesn't often happen that 15+ Vipers pull up and a bunch of guys hop out to move a hugh mother of a tree out of the road. Did you see the looks on the faces of the folks that were waiting there awhile for the police to move the tree? And as we all peel away the police finally show.

I have to say snapping photos at a buck ten is tough. Not much Iconsider any good, but they are at www.davemoore.smugmug.com. Scott your pics are great!

That was a long cruise, I was ready for lunch in Woodstock, too bad that place had no power.

One last thing, that was one hell of a ride down 287 in NJ! Wow!

Thanks again...always fun to mix it up with you NY guys.

I'm starting to worry, I don't see Monster Steve re-paving any highways on this excursion. What did you guys do to him? How many trees did he have to relocate?

It wasn't the tree that did it, it was the BOSS [wife] that was with him!! :smirk:

I heard Monster Steve picked up a tree that was blocking the road and threw it to the side....LOLOLOLOLOLOL I would have paid to see that.

NO NO its all a rumor I was there and I witnessed Monster Steve actually pick up his car with his wife in it and carry it over the tree :)
