Come join us for a spirited cruise, lunch (and serious Ice Cream parlor desert) and car show. Our VCA member, Mr. Bo Knows will be MCing this event (he is a DJ) and "fun" show trophies will be awarded.

For those that might be interested, Guptill's happens to be the World's largest Skating rink per the Guiness Book of Records! More importantly they have a massive parking lot and are accustomed to hosting large car shows. Our cruise will piggyback a local Mopar Show.

No pre-payment necessary...just bring cash for lunch (did I mention desert?).

Since this will be a straight shot up the NYS Thruway, we'll meet at
9:30 AM at the Thruway's Ardsley Rest Area just after the Yonkers toll (Sunoco gas).

If you all are going to be at the Ardsley Rest Area at 0930, then I will be at the rest area just above I84 on I87 at 0945. No need to pull off!
Who wants to meet me there or on I684 at 0830?

I believe that would be on the backside of Thruway Exit 17 at 9:45 (probably more like 10 since the crowd usually likes to fuel, drink and egg McMuffin up at the Ardsley rest stop.

Bo's been having a bit of a problem posting so he's asked me to throw this up:

Hope to see all from our region at this show. We will have a D.J. playing your favorite tunes, awards, door prises, T shirts for sale & ice cream all day long. We will be featuring the Vipers but have invited other exotics & mopar muscle cars. This is a great place to have a car show and will be a fun event. If anybody has any questions please PM me. I will post directions tomorrow. The weather report says sunny & 77 degrees for Saturday.

Bo's taken the trouble to drive the local route and here's the details.

Directions to the show:

Take NYS thruway to exit 24, as soon as you pull out of the toll booth pick up 87 north, exit 1 N towards Albany Airport & Montreal.
Go 6.5 miles & get in far right lane to get off at exit 7.
Go about 1/4 mile & get off at the Latham Cohoes rte 9 & 9r exit.
Take a right at the end of the exit ramp and follow rte 9 north 1.6 miles to Guptills. See you soon !

I will be at Exit 19 on I84 West at 0830-0840 and will be meeting a few Vipers there, then off to I87.

This will be a GREAT event!!
