When I check my oil (2003 SRT) the level is always higher on one side of the dipstick. For example, it will be in the "safe" zone but on the other side of the dipstick the oil level would be in the "add" area...

Any reason for this? Anyone else notice this?

The earth is round, and you are parked on a sideslope ?

Yeah,

Seems that all SRT's have this feature.

Best time to check the oil is after the car has sat over night on a level surface. Even then it make take a couple of "pulls and wipes".

I see the same thing on my 08; no matter how many times I do it, there is always a little bit of a "slant" to the level on the dipstick. I actually just pick the mid point of the slanted line and if that is at a safe level I call it good.
