Our Viper arrived at Woodhouse

Our 2008 Viper arrived at Woodhouse yesterday. We got the Venom Red, which we have not yet seen in person.

The car rolled off the truck right to the lift to put on Motons, then 5 points.

It should get delivered to us on the east coast in 2 weeks, we can take deliver next week so Woodhouse will store it for us.

The people at Woodhouse are great.

Congrats. You will love the Motons. If you plan on adjusting the nitrogren pressure in the Motons for ride quality or for track, let me know. I have just the kit to do so.

My question is why is it now just arriving? The venom reds have been out for along time.I thought the stopped painting them months ago.

With regard to the Motons.....are they appropriate for an '08? I was under the impression that there was a great deal of work done to the '08 suspension to dial it all in.

Actually they are still doing Venom Reds, and most that were done have been convertibles. There are quite a few Venom Red Coupes still being done at the Plant, and the color was available this month for a brief time.

No need to join the VCA, as you should get a free membership with your 2008 purchase, as well as the SRT Driving Experience.

I have a VR coupe ordered. It was in "I" status about 2 weeks ago and obviously yet to be delivered. While I don't know what body type or options Vincy above ordered, I can tell you that there were delays for Vipers ordered with two tone interiors; orders with the Graphite or Arc bezels; Coupes. All were caused by supplier problems/issues.

With regard to the Motons.....are they appropriate for an '08? I was under the impression that there was a great deal of work done to the '08 suspension to dial it all in.

I think the suspension was simply tweaked to compensate for the change from run flats and the resultant weight savings. Motons are drastically better. Now comparing the Motons to the ACR KW's, I would think they are similar in setup, ride and performance. The guys are Woodhouse can answer this better.

We are outside of Baltimore, west side. Do you go to Summit Point? We are regulars there and now my wife is driving as well.

We didn't get the stripes, mostly because we took a Viper that was already on order. We orginally ordered black because my wife wanted black. So in the meantime I got her a new black car. In less than a day she told me to try to change the Viper color. Bill had a Venom Red available with no stripes so we took it. We figure we can put them on if we like.

We are west of Baltimore and go frequently to Summip Point. Both myself and my wife drive at Summit Point.
