Bob, you may need to describe the context that that code refers to. If that is a paint code off a car line thaen there are many experts that could help, but you will need to tell them what car. For example if that is a corvette code, I could tell you how and what back to 1953. If that is a dupont code, dupont can tell you. Iv'e done a bunch of this , can I help my VA?MD brother?

"PA9" is the sales code for "Viper Bright Silver Clear Coat"
The paint code for "PA9" is "VA9". Any good body shop can look
it up in their "Mitchell Sys.".There is a "Sherwin-Williams" #54834.

I just call my body shop 1999 PA9/VA9 "Viper Bright Silver Clear Coat" is made by "PPG". Bob if you need the formula for the paint give me a call here at the Dealership and I'll get it to you.
