Painted Stripes? Aftermarket or Stock?

Sorry for the possibly silly question, but I am on the hunt for a Gen 1 or 2 and I am seeing some cars with stripes that come to a point on the hood. These stripes stop there and do not go down over the front of the car.

Is this a factory thing? or just a sticker?

Yep, those are factory stripes. 1996 was a transition year for the rt10 from a gen 1 to a gen 2 car, usually referred to as a gen 1.5 car. Those stripes are one of the visual cues for a 1996 rt10.

All 96 RT/10 Vipers came factory with the ''Fangs'' stripe. The front hood stripe was designed to look like snake fangs. The stripes are decals and not painted on.
