The new kits are still rubbing the hood pads! Not that its a Huge prob....But is there a fix? Carrott? What did you do?? John

Carrot told me that the throttle linkage bracket was too high and it was adjusted lower so it wouldnt hit the hood pad. I have a new pad ordered and should be installed shortly and I'll verify for you then.

It doesn't seem to be the linkage....seems to be the corners of the air box..its really not that big of a deal... cause the car fly's

Not that problem here. Hey, I strolled through laytonsville this past weekend. Beautiful town man! You must know everybody or everybody knows you with that viper..haha. I work in Rockville so took the long way home the other day.

At 20,000 miles, the hood pad is now worn through to the paint on both sides of the airbox. Still no return emails or calls.
Could someone in the VCA call these people and maybe make some progress?

I just got a call from my supplier, who remembered I mentioned concern about the rubbing. He had just been in contact with Paxton. He asked me to send him my serial # off the Paxton, and that he would get back with me.
Nothing specific, but it sounded like Paxton was working on a solution, and should have something to address the rubbing concerns.
I would expect Paxton to release an updated housing.
As a side note, I am very happy with both the quality of the installation and the huge improvement in drivability with the Paxton system. It totally transforms the car up to world class power delivery.
