Even though we weren't able to get a reserved Viper Corral this year at Road Atlanta, I hope that doesn't keep you from coming out to enjoy the fun and excitement of the Petit LeMans! Depending on the crowd and parking situation, we are going to try to get all the Vipers parked together near Turn 7. If we don't have the space to park there, please call my cell phone (478-972-1815) and I'll tell you where we are. Below is a press announcement that VCA-GA member Jack Winter (who, along with GA-VCA member, David Liles, is lucky enough to be a crew member on the Naykid Racing team during the Petit LeMans!!!) took the time to prepare and asked that I distribute to the club:
Come to Road Atlanta, Braselton, Georgia next week and Hear the Thunder and feel the storm as world class Viper teams take on all rivals in the Petite Le Mans, Speed World Challenge, GT series race. Let’s fill the stands with VCA members, Viper owners, and Viper enthusiasts. Of 27 entrants in the Speed World Challenge GT series there are 9 Vipers, 7 Vettes, 6 Porsche's, 3 Cadillac’s and 2 GTO’s. Two of our GA-VCA members, David Liles and Jack Winter, are crew members on the Dodge Motorsport sponsored NayKid Racing team that has entered two Viper Competition Coupes.
So come and help us fill the parking lots with Vipers and show them the real "Power of Ten."
