I got a friend of mine to knock off the rough stuff with a emory cloth on a grinder. Then I took it from there.
I worked on them several hours. I used the wax shops metal polish and a ruff rag.
Still have to get out the dremel tool and hit the areas around the bolt holes.... I'll post some more photos when i get them on the engine...hopefully this weekend....
If anybody needs anymore info, please feel free to ask...
Also thanks for the replys. I enjoy all the different feedback..

If you want to experiment, PartsRack has em (unpolished of course!) for $139 new, less if used !

Very nice Jeremy, its always better to be unique from all others. Is it a very high polish you have it at>>>?? Did you get any scratch marks since you used the emery cloth? Just wondering if i had to do it..

Thanks
Tony

I hope they dont turn grey, but if they do I guess I'll just have to keep a polish rag in the car with me.

Venomus.. I didnt really get that many scratch marks in the shine. The ones that were left, I was able to cut them out with Metal Polish... Brand was Wax Shops.... works great...
I'll keep you guys posted on how they do as far as turning grey...

You might want to consider getting them clear powder coated while you have them off the car. This would keep them from turning grey.
