I have got a Gen3 Viper that I want to remove its catalitical convertors.
I already done this job on a Gen2 Viper and it was fairly easy.

However on the Gen3 Vipers the cat convertors are linked with a curved pipe.
What is the best way to remove these cats ?

Is there just a bolt-in curved pipe available somewhere ?

I have a pair of cat eliminate pipes I got from RSI. They include the flexible portion and replace it exactly. For a price they are yours.

Send me an email at [email protected] if you are interested.

The only issue then is you need to buy new converters to return it to standard or to pass a true emissions test (rolls type)

First off remove the mufflers, and all the mounting brackets. The undo the plugs from the wiring harness for each O2 sensor. The cats are removed by undoing the clamp on the exhaust manifold which is held in place by a bolt and nut. Remove the bolt and nut, then tap around the clamp to loosen it. DO NOT PRY IT OPEN AS YOU WILL HAVE A REALLY HARD TIME GETTING IT BACK TOGETHER! Then you should be able to use your hands to slide it up towards the exhaust manifold. If you removed the cat mounting bracket as mentioned above you now very carefully slide out the cat assembly while taking great care not to break the O2 sensor.

I hope this helps you,

Robbie
