Maybe you ought to put your vin in your profile, then we will know you really own a Viper. THEN you could pony up and join VCA and support the site. Then you could call on your VCA brothers for a photoshp, which happens to be a lot of work. .....Mahalo

wouldn't it be easier just to look at this photo and pretend you see some lumps on the roof for your convertible?

No, we have quite a few people on the site and it takes a bunch of time to do a photo shop for somebody you don't know or who might not even own a Viper, that might be asking a bit much. It is very time consuming for those that don't know it. This site is paid for by the VCA and run by a great set of volunteers so please understand and be respectful. I am sure Lee will be waiting for your Vin and information and I will be waiting for you to join the site-check the new owners section online renewals.
It has nothing to do with who can or cannot afford to purchase a Viper at all.

I can "believe" the way we respect others on the site. Especially enthusiasts.

Sorry, but this is the one car club on the web where we DO ask you to prove your ownership. Sadly we have a small history of those who pose as owners and stir the *** or ask us to perform meaningless photoshp tasks so that they can display their new screen saver on their laptop in health class. Asking you to put your vin in your profile is a simple request that is normally adhered to by ALL real owners when they see that blank in the profile. That gets you the title of viper owner when you post and then we all know who we are talking to.
An "Enthusiast" who is here cause they like the car and want to learn more. Call this coach class. That would be you so far.
A "Viper owner" Who has documented the fact that he or she is an owner by PROUDLY placing their vin in their profile, which generates the Viper Owner title. Call this Business class, serious business, and when they speak, they do so with personal knowledge of the Snake and other "enthusiasts" listen.
And VCA Member. Those Viper owners who have taken it up a notch to first class and recognize all the benefits both here, with regional clubs and other advantages of associating in a more organized way with others who own the Viper.
And I would comment on your Porsche and Enzo analogy if I could interpret it, but suffice it to say you express yourself so poorly I really don't know what you meant. And the prices you throw around would indicate to me you really are just shopping and are not an owner yet which was my first assumption.
Oh, and my first comment to you was not just directed to you as criticism, I'm the Admin. here and I was going to update your profile if you did indeed have a VIN.:cop:

Whether here or at the Viper alley site, where you dont have to have a Viper to post, guys will still expect to be paid for their time.Austin a known expert at photshop, usually requires a small fee for his time. A photshop(a Good One) takes alot of time. Sometimes you find them posting stuff on their own, showing their creative side. But when one asks for a specific request, expect to have to PM them and maybe paypal a small fee for their time. Its being considerate and its afterall business.

And as just one members opinion(mine) There is a bit of brotherhood and also security when you see owner or even better VCA member in ones title. You know your not dealing with some troll, fake or possibly one who may be looking to commit fraud. I feel all warm and fuzzy when I sell something to a member, yet I ask alot of questions of a non member. And no one feels like they are any better then anyone else here. I know sometimes people forget to put VIN in, my buddy took like 6 months before he finally added his VIN. And you may be very smart , may have a garage full of cars and a butt load of money, but when you dont see Viper owner,no one is going to listen much as first assumption is this guy may have never even sat in a Viper. Afterall this IS a Viper forum, were we mostly talk VIPERS!!!

Is the magazine subscription included in the $100???

I never realized it was 100$..No wonder you take it so seriously. I think joining the VCA might be a Xmas gift right along with a tune and a throttle body

Merry Christmas;)
Yes, the magazine is included. We also have a monthly drawing for VCA members on this site in the VCA section. Another perk. Just think, if you join and buy a raffle ticket you could win a Viper. It's the one on the cover of Autoweek. Make sure and watch the video if you haven't already -

Venom... Go Venom...

Thank you Dave! Venom membership?
Here it is to give you Happy Holidays::D

Welcome to the VCA VENOM MEMBERSHIP OPTION!
What the heck is the Venom membership option?
First ,it is NOT a separate VCA group or subdivision - not even close. What the Venom membership is however, is a special opportunity for members to enhance their VCA membership with some additional services, features, raffle and merchandise discounts all while providing the club with some much appreciated additional financial support.

Here’s how it works:

By choosing the Venom membership option, a VCA member gets the following additional benefits:
  • Special Venom badges
  • Special Venom avatar identification on these forums
  • Venom member 10% discount on merchandise purchased from VCAGoods.com
  • Inclusion on special Venom member page in VIPER magazine to acknowledge Venom membership
  • Special Viper raffle ticket discount to enable purchase of five (5) tickets (per raffle) for $500.00
  • Special Venom decal
Cost? Just $150.00 for the annual upgrade (inclusive of the base $115 dues)
