Whoa there V'Miss from Kansas... ***** the fire down on that broomstick just a tad... :D

Current status is that I have not found a soda blaster in the immediate area I live in, but really didn't look that hard after talking to Metal Rehab Technologies in Arlington. I've used them for many years on and off for stripping parts and they have a wet dip bath for aluminum. So I'm going to take them my intake to get stripped - no abrasive blasting to pollute the intake. Their bath is not magnesium safe, so the valve covers will be blasted the regular way.

Still planning on using viperv10 on this site, but first the stripping and also swapping a pretty valve cover I have with a paint challenged valve cover on the car. No sense sending the pretty one out for powder.

JMB is right down the road from me. I know Justin and his Dad Marty well. I highly recommend them and trust them completely. They did my valve covers and puke tank. Noone else will ever do my powdercoating.
