Just so everyone knows, the price on Mobil 1 5 qt. jugs at Wal-Mart is back down to $22. It used to be $22, but for the past year or so, they were $26/jug. This makes sense because I just changed my oil a couple weeks ago when they were still $26/jug

The Walmart's here have every viscosity EXCEPT 0W-40 in the gallon jugs.

I mean, it'd **** to run out while changing the oil in your ****-whacker, right?

Right. I have to buy it in single qts for $6.99 each. Add a filter and you have an $80 oil change. :crazy2:

Well, the going price for an oil change on my other American car is $300! :omg: (Ford GT) It's all relative. I now feel like my Viper oil change is a bargain!

Explaining Viper things to you
I was at Wally Mart last night checking out the tattooed and pierced babes at the Auto Center. The don't even carry the 0W40 at all. But I did get a class on who not to date in my town. :rolaugh:

I was one quart short of Mobil 1's 5W-30 last week when I took my daily driver in for its oil change. So, I stopped in to NAPA to get one quart and paid $7.99 for it !!!
Next day I restocked at Wal-Mart...got a 5 quart jug for $22.00 at their "Rollback" price...noting they wanted $6.27 for single quarts.

For the record, Wal-Mart does not have Mobil 1's 0W-40 in the 5 quart size...AND the Mobil site states that they have NO plans to produce same!!!

Dave, if you're passing thru, let me know and we can snare some 0W-40 for you thru the Mobil dist. at $5.51 per quart...for VCA members!!!!

0W40 is expensive, but I for one don't want to risk it to save $30 per oil change.
