Question about a VEC2

I bought a used VEC2 and was wanting to know if the previous tune that was last in it will be there or is the tuner just like a scanner that load it into the cars computer? Just wanting to know what I need to do to install it. Im getting it tuned next week. Thanks

The VEC2 stores the tune internally, so whatever was last programmed into it should still be there. The tune might not be a good one for your car unless you are running a similar setup - for instance if it came off a SC car and you're running NA. If this is a problem, Roe provides some baseline tunes for typical applications that will generally get you up and running well enough to drive it to a tuner.
